About Us

Chef/owners Michael and Sarah Buckley opened Buckley’s Great Steaks in December 2005 with the single goal of serving the finest, most flavorful steaks imaginable. Like their other restaurants – Michael Timothy’s Urban Bistro and Surf – Buckley’s Great Steaks combines extraordinary food with a warm, inviting atmosphere.

Buckley’s Great Steaks is located inside the historic structure was once home to Riddle’s Tavern. It was built circa 1800 by Isaac Riddle. Through the years it has served as a tavern, boarding house and residence.

Together, Michael and Sarah have carefully renovated the tavern. Hidden fireplaces have been revealed and hand-hewn beams exposed, all of which add to the special charm of Buckley’s Great Steaks.
